Cheap VS Tacky

A lot of people hear “cheap” and think “tacky” but there is a BIG difference:

This is CHEAP:

From eBay: Chic Bridal Shoes Under $20 – very elegant and tasteful, even on a budget

This is TACKY:

Yes, yes I KNOW – they are SO COMFORTABLE. They’re also PLASTIC GARDENING SHOES!!! Seriously – if there is ever a day NOT to wear rubber shoes – it’s your wedding day. If you want comfortable, try these instead. Also all under $20!

And my personal favorite: If you are having a Vintage feel or theme to your wedding – these are delightful and fun without being tacky:) They are also affordable at $10 per pair

I hate crocs…I have never owned a pair, and I never will. However, this is no tackier than the brides who wear tennis shoes and slippers with their wedding dresses! Lay off of the girl already. I guess she’s just showing off her personality. The rule seems to be do what you want…it’s your wedding. Why criticize this choice?
