Today we took our kids out to cut down a Christmas Tree and it was COLD! I mean -30 C cold. For our US readers, thats about -22 degrees Fahrenheit! Yes, it was a little crazy. Now that I am at home, thawing out, I was thinking about Winter Weddings and the weather. I LOVE winter wedding jackets, especially faux fur ones in white.
Here is one of my favorites. I love this one because it looks beautiful and very elegant. It keeps the exposed skin covered when you are outside – without hiding the beautiful gown you are wearing. It is nice enough that it would look wonderful in photos as well without hiding that gorgeous gown you spent hard earned money on. And, another plus is the price – less then $100! Not bad at all!

That is absolutely beautiful! I’m trying to decide if it’s too matronly-looking. Oh, well! Either way it’s gorgeous!

I am getting married in the winter and the venue chosen has wonderful view of the lake… which would be wonderful for outdoor pictures but, while I think that the above jacket looks good on the model, I would like to stay away from the whole fur look. Are there other options for keeping warm?
