This idea came from a wedding I attended recently and it not only saved the couple a great deal of money, but it gave them a chance to personally connect with each guest! Instead of traditional favors, they had a large basket of mints and candies, and the bride and groom went around after the meal and had them out, visiting with the guests as they went! The personal touch was wonderful and to be honest, it’s probably one of the few “favors” I remember, and that was 4 years ago!

The bride herself said that she liked the idea because it gave them a chance to connect with each guest and they didn’t waste money on something that 95% of the guests would have thrown away!
