It’s The Rock

Engagement season has come and gone. Did you know that more people get engaged between Christmas and Valentine’s then any other time of year? While some of these brides-to-be will have already received an engagement ring, it is becoming much more common for the couple to go engagement ring shopping together, and many couples are now searching for that perfect engagement ring and wedding rings that will represent their union forever.

I bet you never knew there were SO MANY options!! For example, there are different stone shapes you can choose. Traditional options include Round Diamonds and Princess Cut Diamonds (square). One benefit often found with a princess cut is that ability to combine 4 smaller diamonds in one setting so you get the look of a larger diamond, at a lower price. Both off my sister-in-laws have a engagement ring setting with four small princess diamonds combined to make one, larger princess “solitaire”.  It’s lovely.

For a bride looking for something a little different, non-traditional diamond shapes are quite trendy right now. The examples shown here are a marquise cut diamond, a pear shaped diamond, and a very romantic heart shaped diamond.

After years of Solitaire lovin, multi-stone engagement rings are also making a come back. Take a look at some of these stunning rings that are PACKED with some major bling!!
