Some of our most popular posts right now are our posts on wedding candy buffets. We started discussing candy buffets last May with a post loaded pictures and tips on how to create a lovely candy buffet on a budget. Then we followed up with a few posts showcasing some of the great finds we had come across using the tips we mentioned. Check out these gorgeous Apothecary Jars and glass containers.
Today, I thought I would follow up with some eye candy for one of this years hottest wedding colors: YELLOW!! Check out these two gorgeous yellow candy buffets I found!
This one came from Mel’s Brainstorms

This one came from Living The Swell Life. I know the background and overhang make up most of the yellow color, but that works to.

I am doing a candy buffet for a friend’s wedding set for October 17, 2009. Great time for “Halloween” candy, but her “colors” are Navy Blue or Dark Blue and Silver. Any ideas?? Any help is appreciated

Blue and silver can be a little tough! For silver – look for things in silver foil like Hershey Kisses. You can also get Jordan Almonds in silver. For the blue – ask your friend to consider a range of blue hues. This will make your job a little easier and will make for a gorgeous, monochromatic display. You can find things like M&M’s, smarties, jelly beans, etc at bulk candy stores in individual colors. Also check out BeDazzle My BonBons – chocolates covered in glitter in all colors – they are amazing (yes, I have tried them) – they taste divine and the glitter has no taste or texture at all but comes in many colors including shades of blue and silver.
