How to Plan a Safe Bachelorette Party

We all know the importance of a bachelorette party, but how often do you consider the safety of the party? The truth is a ladies’ night out can quickly become dangerous, especially if there is drinking involved. If you’re planning a party for a bride to be, make sure it’s a safe one. Here are a few tips on how to plan a safe bachelorette party.

Choose a Safe Location

While bars may be a popular location to host your bachelorette party, it’s not safe. In fact, some men have been known to monitor how the night proceeds and pick off the drunkest of the women. Instead of having to worry about the safety of your party guests, choose a location that is well known, such as one of the guest’s homes.

Use a Designated Driver

If you choose to serve alcohol, make sure there is a designated driver to get everyone home safely. Or, better yet, choose to have a sleepover at the host’s home. This ensures everyone gets to enjoy the party, but they stay safe.

Skip or Limit the Alcohol

A bachelorette party doesn’t have to become an embarrassing moment no one hopes to remember. Instead of getting plastered on one to many fruity drinks, consider skipping the alcohol or sipping on Champagne. You don’t have to throw back several kiddie pool sized drinks to have a good time. More importantly, the bride doesn’t have to be hungover at her wedding.

Be Creative

Bars and strip clubs aren’t just reserved for men. Ladies also like to see men shed a few pieces of clothing before heading down the aisle. However, you don’t have to fall for this cliched form of entertainment. Instead of doing something traditional, why not enjoy a day at the spa or a day of shopping for honeymoon attire? Not only is this a safe activity, but both activities can be extremely relaxing, which is just what the bride to be needs.

A bachelorette party doesn’t have to be an excuse to get unbelievably drunk. There are things you can do that are even more enjoyable and more importantly safe. Instead of allowing the wedding party to find themselves in strange bedrooms the next morning, let them enjoy a day at a local spa. It may not be traditional, but it will be a memory everyone will want to remember.
