Each year, the Milan fashion show debuts new trends in bridal wear that never fail to become the next big thing. One of the hot looks in this years runway collections was the Grecian Goddess look. Empires waisted gowns with soft, flowing skirts - these gorgeous gowns are often perfect for a semi-formal, informal or destination wedding. For today’s trend watch - take a look at these amazing designer gowns currently available on eBay.

My Favorite is this Private Label By G gown gown with amazing beaded detailing on the bust. This gown is never worn, originally purchased for a wedding that was canceled and is a size 6-8. And - it is currently listed at an unbelievable $89!!!! Lots of great pictures of the actual dress included in the listing as well.

Another great find was this size 12 Maggie Sottero gown that is currently listed at $59! This one was purchased early in the wedding planning stages and then the bride decided she wanted Ivory instead of white. It hasn’t been worn other then to try it on.

My favorite eBay seller, the wonderful Your Dream Dress, also has some great designer steals available including: a brand new $2200 Manual Mota “Cassandra” gown for $1150, a brand new $3000 Monique L’Huillier “Zoe”gown for $950, a new $3000 Manual Mota “Claudia” gown for $1450 and a new $2800 Carolina Herrera 35310 gown for $1195.

I found another awesome used gown seller on eBay that I has to share! Couture Wedding Gowns sells high end designer gowns with names like Paloma Blanca, Alvina Valenta, Jim Hjelm, Lazaro, Casablanca, Reem Acra, Pronovias and many more. Most of these are sample gowns, and were used in the bridal salon as samples. They may have had some damage, but they have been repaired and cleaned as needed, and the seller has included plenty of detailed photos of the actual gowns with each listing, which is very important.

The best part, of course, is the price! They have $1500+ gowns selling for as little as $250, a huge steal for some amazing gowns! Most of these gowns, as store samples, are unaltered and can be sized up or down a few sizes as needed as well. (more…)

I found two gorgeous gowns I want to share with you today. Both are adorable, and very very good deals!

This is a Mori Lee gown in Duchess Satin and it is gorgeous! The bride had it altered from a size 12 to a size 10 and wore it for her bridal portraits but then the wedding was called off. She says there is enough to let it be altered up or down slightly, and she also includes photos of the actual gown as well. It’s always nice when you can see the actually dress, not just the designer pics. Her gown also had a bustle put in for the reception. The best part - she is asking only $450 starting price for this stunning gown.

Another great find was this stunning Demetrios gown! It has been used before, but she provides great pictures of the dress in it’s current state with is wonderful. It is ivory with a French bustled train and an amazing embroidered bust. The dress is a size 16, and will need dry cleaning but it is an absolute steal at $200! Amazing.

I found two gorgeous Maggie Sottero gowns on eBay today that I just had to share! If you are on a budget, either of these gorgeous, formal gowns would be a great deal!

First - a brand new Maggie Sottero gown, with an amazing lace up back and beaded detailing. This gown was purchased for a wedding and then never used. It’s been a while since we had an installment of The Real Deal - so I thought i would put one together for you. I always love flipping through page after page of “designer wedding gowns” on ebay to find the ones that are really a good deal (aka - not a cheap knock off, lol) Take a look at some of my favorites today:

VERA WANG baby! This gorgeous gown is an authentic Vera Wang that normally retails for $4k. It was a bridal shop sample, and is a size 10. It is a definite steal at $1450!

Pallas Athena is the designer behind this gorgeous number. This one is a used gown, which has been worn for one wedding but it looks to be in pristine condition. It is a size 8, and is currently listed for $299.

I’m not sure who the designer behind this one is, but I love it anyway! It’s a soft pink color, with gorgeous detailing and a very sexy silhouette! This one is currently listed at $295 with a Buy It Now of only $495 and it is approximately a size 6-8.

It seems that this “one dress” real deal thing is catching on, lol. Once again, I stumbled upon a gown deal so impressive that I knew it couldn’t wait for the next real deal post. This one is for a $1500 Rena Koh gown that is BRAND NEW, never been worn. The seller purchased it in November of 2006 but never used or altered it. Now she is offering it with a starting bid of only $169 - and a buy it now of $299!!! Now THAT is a steal!!!

Earlier today, I posted another Trend Watch on Wedding Style, this time talking about waist detailing including belts, beading and the obi sash - all of which are popular for 2008. While I was looking for more affordable options to share here, I came across an eBay auction I had to share:

If you like the Obi Sash style - you will love this custom wedding gown with a black sash. This gown was altered to be a more exaggerated mermaid style making it a one-of-a-kind gown and it is selling for a mere $350! Great deal on a great dress!

I also found this amazing deal on Target - this belted gown is currently on sale - $24.99 for the lace belted top, $49 for the ball gown skirt. That’s a pretty impressive gown for $75!
