The economy has effected just about everyone by now and everyone is looking for ways to make ends meet. The silver lining for budget minded brides is that more brides then ever are choosing to sell their once-used gowns after the wedding. They get a little extra cash – and you save a ton on a great dress! Here are a few examples of great dresses listed on eBay by recent brides:

This bride paid $1500 for this beautiful, strapless ivory sweetheart gown and has had it professionally cleaned for another $150. It’s in great condition and ready to wear with a starting bid of only 99 cents on eBay!

This elegant Oleg Cassini gown was originally purchased for $1000. It is a white, strapless gown with a soft flowing skirt and elegant detailed bodice. The bride states that the gown is in great condition with no missing beads and will just need to be cleaned before wearing making it an amazing steal at a starting price of $50 on eBay!

This strapless tafetta a-line gown is a Maggie Sottero design which was originally purchased for over $1500. I absolutely love the lace detailing – and this dress is selling for only $199 on eBay!

I haven’t done a Real Deal post in a while but this Christina Wu gown  was a definite must share. This gorgeous gown is a white, size 8 Christina Wu design used as a sample gown at a bridal salon. The gown retails for $780 and is currently listed on eBay for $100! That’s a great deal for a gorgeous embroidered gown.

It never ceases to amaze me some of the details that are putting on gowns today. Check out these gorgeous gowns I found today on eBay!

Dress #1: This is Cassablanca Style #1711 in a size 8. It was a bridal salon sample and features a gorgeous detailed halter bodice! It needs a bit of cleaning and minor alterations but at $200 on eBay – it’s an amazing bargain!

Dress #2: This gown isn’t from a known designer – but the floral embriodery on the bodice is exquisite! If you are looking for something unique for your Spring or Summer wedding, this gown in a size 6-8 could be just the thing and it’s very affordable at $149 on eBay!

I got a little lost in eBay today – that happens to me A LOT! I wish I could afford to buy dress after dress because I always find some great deals! Here are a few of my favorite finds today – maybe some lucky bride will find her dream dress among them!

Dress #1: There aren’t a ton of pictures of this dress, but from what I can see it looks lovely. It’s white with some gorgeous beading and lace details – and it’s currently priced at $0.01 with a $150 buy it now option on eBay. I have a feeling some lucky bride is going to get this dress for a steal.

Dress #2: This gorgeous dress is a Maggie Sottero design in size 12 on eBay. The gown is used and needs some cleaning but it’s selling with a buy it now price of $49.99! Even after paying the cleaning bill and alternations, it’s going to be a huge steal.  I LOVE the detailing on the bodice and skirt.

Dress #3: If you’re looking for classic vintage – this is your dress. This gown is fantastic! It would be perfect for a glamourous vintage wedding. It’s a size 2 and needs some cleaning but it is currently listed at $0.99 on eBay! I am very tempted to bid on this one – I could find a use for it some day lol.

Today real deal is an amazing Romona Keveza creation that I found on eBay. This dress is style #RK659 and is a beautiful diamond white. Made with duchess silk satin, this dress is a modified version of the mermaid style dress which makes it easier to move around in then the traditional mermaid style. The back features beautiful buttons as well as a zipper for extra security. The dress was only worn once for the sellers 2008 wedding and after wards it was professionally cleaned and boxed. The seller paid $5000 originally and is selling it for a starting price of $1500. Now thats a real deal!!

This gown was created by Vera Wang and I must say that I love it! Made with silk taffeta this strapless gown is beautiful with its swept to the side skirt and chapel train. This dress has been tried on a couple times but has never been worn to a wedding or other events. This dress is retails at $6,650.00 and is being sold for only $2,450.00. I found this beautiful dress designed by Anne Barge Couture Bridal Gown on eBay style # 226 being sold for $2,105.00 LESS then the original price of $3,500.00!!! Made with silk mikado and featuring a sweep train this dress is a steal at $1,395.00. Also included in this deal is an amazing jacket which is also made with silk mikado with amazing bead work that sets the dress off perfectly. This gown has only been tried on a few times and has never been worn to any weddings or other types of events.

Happy monday. I hope your weekend was great. Normally for real deal I just do one dress today i found an eBay store full of amazing deals. This store is called ‘Wedding World on eBay‘ and sells designer dress for low prices. These dresses have only been worn for photo shoots and many have never been worn at all and are shown on maniquins. They also sell veils, bridesmaid dresses and other wedding essentials. With so many great dresses to chose from i was forced to narrow my choices down to 9.

This wonderful dress is called ‘Divina Esposa on eBay‘ and is designed by ‘Demetrius’. Made with razo podesna french-mate cloth this stunning gown sparkles with beautiful stone-work on the bodice and trailing down the side of the skirt. The dress has only been worn once for 4 hours and was then dry-cleaned and professionally ironed(vapor). Originally retailed at $1,200 the bride is only asking $285.00! This is an amazing deal and I think that this dress is absolutely beautiful!
