Fabulous, Affordable Vintage Style
Posted by Kari in Bridal Gowns & Accessories, Nostaligic Wedding Themes on November 15th, 2008
I stumbled onto a gorgeous little boutique today – Unique Vintage. They have a fabulous selection of vintage and vintage inspired clothing including some gorgeous, bridal worthy gowns. The best part is that most of their gowns are very affordable (I’m talking $99, $200, $300 etc). Take a look at a few from their current selection:

WOW right?

A few weeks ago, we posted a great summer beach wedding guestbook that was only $29. Today I was visiting the Once Upon A Family website were I found that album and discovered that it is part of a series with a number of great, affordable ablums that would work as guest books:) The neat thing is that they are affordable enough that you could get matching albums for your wedding photos and honeymoon photos without breaking your budget!
Â
This is the Thanksgiving Ablum and would be perfect for a fall wedding.

This is the Valentine’s Day album and would work for a red wedding, pink wedding, heart themed wedding or a Valentine’s Day wedding.Â

This is the mother’s day album and is very pretty! If you are having a spring wedding, this is the guest book for you.Â

This goregous New Years album would work for any wedding. It is elegant, sophisticated and beautiful.Â

And this is the July 4th album, perfect for a July wedding, or any all-american wedding:) Also great for Navy, Military, Fireman or Police wedding:)

Fun Funky 50’s Wedding Centerpiece
Posted by Kari in DIY Weddings, Decorations, Nostaligic Wedding Themes, Wedding Themes on August 7th, 2006

This was actually a New Years Party but I thought it would be a cute centerpiece idea for someone planning Funky 50’s wedding. The centerpiece is a 50’s style shake cup filled with pink and white sand. The top is filled is filled with pink and white carnations – finished with a dark pink carnation for the cherry, and two straws. I am not a fan of the black furry stand. I would place the glass on a mirror, and sprinkly white and pink flower petals for a more romantic yet still funky elegance.
