We haven’t had one of these in a while, so here is a wedding planning stress break from our friends at Coke zero. As part of their new “Life as it Should Be” campaign - they are giving you a chance to decide how life should be (kind of like wedding planning, but without the budget and mother in law in the way, lol).
Using clips from black and white movies, you get to name the actor(s) and the movie, write the script, and decide how YOU think life should be. You can then send your movie to your friends and compete with other movies for the highest rating. You could also have a lot of fun with this - send “The Secret” asking a friend to be a bridesmaid, or send a movie to your guy letting him know why you think he’s the hottest thing since sliced bread:)
Enjoy:) Remember, this is supposed to be FUN - if you’re feeling overwhelmed, step back, take a deep breath and enjoy a short stress break.

This year’s edition of the Cheap-Chic-Weddings Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest has come to a close and these dress was the luck winner! The designers at Chrys Cross Bridal and Nadine Sheree are now working to produce a wearable version of the gown which will be available to purchase this coming fall!

A lot of people hear “cheap” and think “tacky” but there is a BIG difference:
This is CHEAP:

From eBay: Chic Bridal Shoes Under $20 - very elegant and tasteful, even on a budget
This is TACKY:

Yes, yes I KNOW - they are SO COMFORTABLE. They’re also PLASTIC GARDENING SHOES!!! Seriously - if there is ever a day NOT to wear rubber shoes - it’s your wedding day. If you want comfortable, try these instead. Also all under $20!

And my personal favorite: If you are having a Vintage feel or theme to your wedding - these are delightful and fun without being tacky:) They are also affordable at $10 per pair

This is a project I finished this weekend at an online Scrapbooking crop session. This one is made with magnet stripes on the back of the pins so it can hang on the fridge, but I thought it could be a great idea for decorating around a wedding or reception area. For example, place poles along a walkway and string ribbon from one pole to the next. Then, use clothes pins to hang pictures of the couple from the ribbon. Use papers and embelishments to match your wedding.
Another idea would be to use it as a pew decoration. Drape ribbon or even tulle from one pew to the next then use a single clothes pin to hang a decorated photo from the tulle at each pew. Actually - you could do both. Use them at the ceremony, then remove them and take them with to decorate the entrance to the reception area.
This would work well for a informal or semiformal wedding. For a more formal wedding, you could try painting or decorating the pins to make them look less rustic. Depending on what you do for paper and embelishements, this could be a very very affordable project.
If you are planning a destination wedding or have quite a few out-of-town guests attending your wedding, it’s important to keep that in mind when choosing where to register for wedding gifts. The point of a registry is to make gift shopping easier for your guests - and if Uncle Bob is flying in just hours before the wedding - chances are he isn’t going to want to run around town just to make sure the Waterford Crystal vase he gives you is from your list. There really is no point in a registry if your guests can’t get to it.
Fortunately, the number of sites offering online registry services is growing quickly. Today, you can register for almost anything - from the traditional Denby China Dinnerware right down to your honeymoon! Many retailers are also offering their registries online as well. Often, these registries will give your guests the option of purchasing from your list and having the item shipped straight to you - saving them from having to worry about stepping off the airplane with a suitcase full of shattered Lalique Crystal.
Is your registry “guest friendly”?
